How do you ship, and how long does it take?
Getting our web orders out quickly is a priority. You can expect a shipping confirmation + tracking number within 48 hours of ordering ( Monday to Friday). Email us if you are still waiting to receive this information after 2 business days of placing an order. Don’t forget to check your spam folder.
Overnight and speedier shipping options are available at a cost, please reach out by email and we will make it happen.
Domestic shipping is always free and we generally use the post office because it’s fast, government-owned, and right across the street :). If you are unable to receive USPS, email us and we can arrange another carrier.
Should you receive notice that your package has been delivered but you can’t find it, 99% of the time it arrives the following day. One of USPS’s little mysteries…. If it has been longer than 24 hours, reach out to us we will help find a solution.
For Mexico and Canada, shipping will be $30 - all other international destinations vary by region, and a shipping cost will be available at check out.
You are now able to prepay duties and taxes online, if you choose this option your order will be delivered duty and taxes paid. Should you choose to pay the duties and taxes yourself upon delivery, please be aware that under no circumstances are we able to offer a refund if a package is refused by a customer because of high duty costs.
We recommend this site to get an idea of the customs and duties costs in your region.
How do I return and exchange?
Until you are very familiar with our products you will likely need to return or exchange a product at some point. It is an unfortunate but inevitable part of online shopping and we want to make the process easy. Because we are a very small company and need to resell the items that you want to return, we have a short return window of 7 days. Unfortunately, sale goods are final sale and we cannot offer refunds or exchanges on these items.
Shopify does not have a system to make online exchanges, so if you are worried about an item selling out, it is best to order the item you want to exchange at the time of your return. Alternatively, write your exchange request with a phone number on the return form and we will use a workaround when the your returned order arrives, if money needs to be exchanged we will call you.
The cost of the return shipping is the customer’s responsibility in most cases. You can sign up for a free USPS account here .Once you set up your free account you can purchase and print labels at home, they offer free pick ups, shipping boxes and store your tracking numbers for you.
The Domi Eco Pak we sent your Domi in, can be reused for your return. Please track your shipment, if you have not seen a credit from our parent company Hazel Brown LLC within 5 days after it is has been received in our office, please send us an email. Customers are responsible for knowing their tracking number, please keep it in a safe place.
If the styles you ordered are returnable there should be a return form with your order, if you need another copy you can download one here.
What size should I purchase?
We design our sleepwear to be on the comfortable side, but we understand that fit is a personal preference. Our size small is based on a woman who is 34/27/37 ( bust, waist, hips). There is a 2” circumference difference between each size ( except extra small + small there is only a 1.5” difference between.) There is a 1/2” difference in length between all sizes. The models’ measurements and the size she is wearing are listed on each product page, use this as a guide to how the garment was designed to fit, and make your adjustments from there. Should you want exact measurements reach out by email and we can send you precise garment measurements, or send us your measurements and we will help you choose the best size for you.
You can access our size guide here, to find our recommended size for you.
Are your items preshrunk? What is the best way to wash?
All Domi products are pre-washed and preshrunk. Washing Domi in cold water and line drying is a great way to be eco-friendly. Always wash with “like“ colors and should you need to remove a stain try an oxygenated bleach first, avoid chlorine bleach except when necessary and only on whites. Always remember to unbutton the buttons before washing, the agitation of the machine loosens buttons if left buttoned up ( this great tip applies to all clothes, not just Domi).
Can you explain the difference between your cottons?
We produce our pajamas primarily in two different cottons, Poplin and Cambric. The Cambric for those of you who have been shopping with us since the beginning, is our original cotton that we started Domi with, it is super, super soft, but a bit on the transparent side. After many requests for a less sheer option with the help of our Domi producers in India, we developed our Poplin. Our Poplin is a long-wearing, more densely woven cotton with a crisp personality that manages to have a ridiculously soft and smooth hand despite itself. We love them both, so we offer them both. The Product pages will list which cotton a style/print has been produced in. We try to have a decent selection of both.
In the colder months we now offer a flannel, which is actually a brushed twill, (flannel-like) but with a head start on the fiber breakdown. Flannel is one of those things that is far better 20 washes down the line, our brushed twill takes you to about 15 washes, and the other 5 are on you. It’s worth the washing, it gets better with every wear, we promise. Extreme cozy.
All of our cottons are 100% certified Organic Cotton, woven and printed just for us in India.
How big is your company?
We are small but awesome.
Domi is independently owned by our founder Ali Blankley. With less than 4 in-house staff, we answer your emails, ship your goods, and manage all things business out of a small studio in Los Angeles. We are not open to the public, but maybe soon.
When will a sold-out item be back in stock, and can I pre-order?
Generally never.
Due to our teensy size, we cannot rerun prints( we can't make the minimum order), once a print is gone, it’s gone. Of course, there are always exceptions, in this case, we do not take pre-orders as we just don’t have a reliable system in place to hold this information, and invariably there is chaos and disappointment. Being on our mailing list is the best way to know when we have restocked, are having a sale, or have something new.
Why should I sign up for your mailing list?
We don’t just make nice pajamas, we also make pretty great emails.
Domi’s Sunday newsletter is our place to announce things like new goods, sales, etc, but most importantly this is the only place we advertise discount codes. Discount codes are our way of saying thank you for not unsubscribing.
Other fun things will show up in your inbox, playlists, poems, newsy bits. We try to keep it to a minimum and we try to make it worth opening.
Email us back, we love to hear from our customers

Why do your products smell so amazing?
Before we ship your order your items will receive a light spritz of our Domi Sleep Spray. 99% of our customers are in love with this smell as much as we are. For the small minority with a sensitivity or just don’t like it, please email us after your order is placed and we will omit this step. For everyone else that loves it, you can order Domi “SLEEP” as a spray or a candle on our website . It is made with 100% natural essential oils, most of them organic. It was designed in house with the intention of inducing a sense of calm and well-being, plus offer a nice surprise when you open your goods :)
